To my family

Tired oh so tired. I appreciate the fact that my company provides continuing ed for us, because it can get quite expensive. But it makes for a short weekend and an even longer week. Lucky me I have a fairly short week this coming week. But again I have a weekend long commitment. Don't get me wrong I am excited for this one. I am getting together with some friends and we are going to scrapbook all weekend long. My good friend Sunni's family rented a B & B type of establishment. I will finish later the tornado sirens are going off.

Ok sorry, as I was saying. 12 women, good friends, good food, fellowship and hopefully lots of scrapbooking. I am getting awfully close to being current on the album I am working on. I hope you all appreciate the story as much as I have enjoyed creating it.

The storms were uneventful. That was the second time the sirens had gone off today. Both times we scurried to the truck to catch nothing. That last time we did get a slight bit of rain and wind and maybe a few skud clouds, but not even a speck of hail. Maybe some interesting pictures. I'll have to check them out. I attempted to take pics of the rain and lightening this evening and really struggled. No matter what setting I used, I couldn't get the camera to shoot. Which is really disappointing, cuz I had a nice bolt of lightening in the view finder on to seperate occasions. Oh well, there is always next time and maybe I will have learned to utilize my camera by then.

Ok mom, how about a change of subject. I got a new haircut and let Kelsey talk me into a touch of red. Tell me what you think.

Charlie, I got your e-mail and I will get back to you on specific dates. By the way, I am still waiting on that list. I have a double layout 3/4's of the way done. All it needs is a list.

April, Give all the girls an hug and a kiss for. E-mail me a picture and don't worry, you will find a place for all the "shit."

Well, I am off to bed, the storm is still raging, hopefully it will lull me to sleep. Which is kind of funny to me. I remember a time not to long ago when I was scared to death of a lightening storm, crawling into bed with anybody for a little comfort.
