I swear, I blinked and Thanksgiving is almost here. Why is it that it feels like each year goes faster than the one before it?
I tend to have a love/hate relationship with Thanksgiving. The love side comes from seeing family (especially ones we don't see that often) and a big Thanksgiving meal.
The hate side is that I am a year older. Which has never bothered me in the past. Hitting 30 didn't even bother me. However, 30 "something" was uncomfortable, 35 was rough now 36 is looming. It is really 40 that is sticking out like a sore thumb. Yeah, I know you are only as old as you feel. The problem is I am young at heart and try to enjoy life, but my body reminds me differently everyday and it is only going to get worse. But overall, I am healthy and should be thankful and just get off my ass, stop my blustering and get in to better shape!

Ha ha! We all should get up and do more about our bodies, but with the pace of life the way it is, it sure feels great to take a load off and enjoy some down time. Don't beat yourself up...enjoy the ride. =)
