Good Morning all. As I have told some of you, I am not going to maintain my Myspace page anymore. I found it to be very high maintenance. Originally I was blogging on myspace, but I decided to give this a try. The bonus is that my family can tap into without having to maintain a Myspace page or whatever. I am going to keep utilizing my facebook page at this time. My goal with this blog is just to keep my family and friends, who are scattered across the country, up to date. Happy Reading!

Last night I had a wonderful evening with friends. We gathered at Christy's house and she hosted a premier Jewelry party. (Hey Missy, I have the new book in my possession already)It was a wonderful night of fun, food and fellowship. For those of you who don't know, I am a sucker for Jewelry, especially if I don't have to spend a lot of money on it and it looks like I did. The piece I bought last night is a Brighton knockoff and it is just Gorgi! (sorry the pic is a little rough, but you get the idea) Here is the dilemma I face. I spend a ton of money on this particular jewelry. I do take advantage of all their specials including hosting parties, which awards me a lot of free and discounted pieces. But now I am debating becoming a consultant. I have a couple fears with the venture. The first being that I have a fear of public speaking. Which I am aware I will overcome once I become more comfortable in that role. The second fear is appearing pushy to my friends. No offence Christie, you do a really nice job of pushing the jewelry without making people feel pressured. I don't know if I could accomplish that with such tact. That last thing is the longevity of it compared to the money I would have to invest. Premier does come out with new pieces 2 times a year, but you can only circle your friends and family so much before they tire on the party thing. Hopefully by that time you have reached out to their friends and family, but one can not be so sure and that is a lot of time and money to invest taking inconsideration my own short comings. I share this with all of you because I know a handful of you have tried this with different companies. I would appreciate any incite you have to offer.
