Change is on the horizon

Last week was very stressful for me. After many months of discussion and deliberation with my dearest friends and my family I came to a very tough decision. On Friday I had a discussion with my manager, Neil and than on Friday night and Monday evening I had a discussion with his manager, Lynn, regarding my departure from NovaCare. My last day there will be September 3rd. That's right I did it! I gave my notice.

Most of you know that I have been with NovaCare for 8 years, it has been a wonderful place to work and I have spawned many friendships. My heart and soul has been with my job and the clinic in Derby. However, I am very excited to start my new adventure as a Home Health therapist. It will allow me to work and spend more time with Shane and the people that are dear to me. On top of all of that, I will still be able to take the time to go to Ohio and visit with my family. I am so looking forward to feeling like I am in control of my life again!


I went and signed all the paperwork for my new job over the lunch hour yesterday. All very boring stuff, except the dress code...I see a shopping trip in my future!
