November started out with the coup d' Etta, of the past three months. Sunni and Curt had their wedding reception, it was a beautiful affair. Good food, visiting with friends and a glimpse of the wedding ceremony. What blew me away was when Shane offered to go to the reception with me. For those of you who don't know, this event had two strikes against it. It had the word wedding in it and it was a crowd of people. Two things Shane avoids. Now granted, we went, ate dinner, watched the wedding video and left. But it was a step in the right direction.

Shane's mom and step dad have bought a couple of horses and Shane has really enjoys riding them. he is really getting pretty skilled, he is able to get the horse up to a canter and still control it. That doesn't mean he is graceful during the canter, but he isn't falling off either.
Shane's mom is one of 22 children, currently there are 11 still alive. Every year 6 of the siblings rotate Thanksgiving. It is the one holiday they celebrate with the extended family. This year, Thanksgiving was held at Paula's, Shane's mom, house.

I had no idea that Shane was riding horses now. Crazy, but very cool. I also STILL can't believe he came to the reception...it was a huge compliment to me and although you didn't stay as long as YOU would've liked to...you were there for at least an hour or two. That's amazing! Love it! Know what else? I'm impressed with Shane being himself and allowing you to take photos...instead of being silly or strange like his typical pose. I like seeing pictures of him...when the new wears off of that you'll have to ask him to take a few of you, too. =)
