Shane's Christmas present

Friday: I went into super stealth mode this week, Taking the back way into the neighborhood. As I drove around the corner, Shane was standing in the dining room with all the curtains and blinds open looking out the window as I drove to Jamie and Jodi's to stash his Christmas present. I'm pretty certain he saw me, but its not a subject I can breach without drawing attention to the fact that his Christmas present is sitting in Jamie and Jodi's garage. So for now I am going to assume that I imagined him there.

Saturday: Shane and I were standing at the island talking about what to do this weekend and my cell phone rang that I has a text message. I don't think much of it, it rings all the time. I glance down and I see this. . .

Jamie had sent me a picture of Shane's grill that he had put together for me. Which is absolutely amazing. So I nonchalantly pick up my phone and put it in my pocket and hope Shane didn't glimpse the text.

Dec 23 -  Jamie and Shane, with a little prodding from me, decided to venture down south to the casino. Hallelujah, I can finally get the grill out of Jamie and Jodi's garage and onto our back porch. So after I saw the truck leave and knew the coast was clear, I walked down to Jamie and Jodi's. Thankfully, Jamie's brother and his family were there so I didn't have to drag the grill down the street in the freezing rain. A few drinks and a couple of cookies later, they loaded the grill into the back of the truck and headed back to my house. I decided since it was too  cold outside for Shane to spend anytime on the back porch, I moved the table and had them tuck the grill into the corner. I just had to keep him from going out there for one day. And I was successful, When Shane opened the bottle of lighter fluid he looked around and started heading to the garage. After I redirected him he was super excited to find. . .

Merry Christmas!!
