My Current living room

In the middle of my work day yesterday, Jason Mraz started singing Lucky from the depths of my bag. It always makes me a little nervous when Shane calls me during the day. When I finally dug my phone out of my bag, he told me he actually had good news. (PHEW)  His mom had called and offered us her "old" furniture. She and John Dee had bought new and she just needed to make room. I was so excited I didn't know if I was going to laugh or cry. Shane and I headed into Belle Plaine that evening and pick up our new to us furniture. It only took us 2 trips and one vehicle and we recieved enough pieces to furnish both the living room and what will be the family room or what ever downstairs once we finish it.

It was such an amazing surprise. We have been trying to decide what to do with tax money. . . I think we just answered that question.
