The only difference between a rut and a grave, is the depth.

I know, what a morbid title, but that is a good reflection of how I feel right now. When I sit and reflect on my week, I realize that I spend 10-11 hours of my day at work. Out of a 24 hour period I am usually only awake 15 hours. So by the time I get back home, make dinner and sit down to enjoy it, it is time to go to bed just to turn around and do it all over again. And I am only one person, for those of you who do it with families, children ect you are saints. Either that or you possess a time-turner (Harry Potter reference).

These pictures have nothing to do with anything other than they make me smile and obviously I need to smile a little more. This little guy is the son of a good friend of mine. He and his daddy came to watch the KU OU game with us the other night while mom was at work.

It is official, I told the jewelry lady that I have to much on my plate and am unable to commit to selling Premier at this time. I didn't feel like I could dedicate the necessary time to build the business. So we will see, I might me kicking myself down the road. I can always sign up at a later date, but the sign on bonus I am passing up was hard to turn down. She offered me up to $600 in free jewelry. Now I would have had to work a bit for it, but I was taught that nothing is ever free.
Enough rambling, sorry that is just the speed that my mind is still going at. Hopefully, I will be able tune it down a notch tomorrow. Sunni and I are going to spend the day scrapbooking. Do you think I can complete 2.5 years worth of layouts? That's my goal, we'll see.

  1. So maybe you didn't complete 2.5 years of pages but we had fun, good food & fellowship & sometimes being TOO productive is overrated...at least that's what I'm telling myself. :)

I love the pictures here ~ laughing & smiling is a great form of therapy!

Don't kick yourself...you DO have too much on your plate at this time. PLUS, you've probably earned close to $600 in jewelry simply by hosting your own parties. No regrets ~ just lessons learned.

    Keep your head up!
