KU lost and is out of the tournament in the second round, First day of spring and they are threatening more snow and blustering wind. But at least the sun is shining for now and I am gonna do a little shopping today. That should put a smile on my face.
It has been a long week, mostly because Shane was on spring break this week. We would have loved to be sitting on the beach some where, me enjoying a few cocktails and him fishing, but it just didn't work out that way. Instead he spent most of the week fishing in Kansas lakes and I working. Now we are finishing off the week and getting ready to return to normal, Hallelujah!

Overall it was a good week. I did a lot of online shopping, it is getting rather addictive, especially when I can score no shipping charges. Bought a few things from the scrapbook site, KU site and looked at a few specialty purses which I am still debating. But the best purchase this week (secondary to the steal I got and the excitement of the product itself) I purchased an iphone. I was a little hesitant, the initial reviews weren't amazing. But after some investigating I talked myself into it and I am in love. I justified it all by convincing myself I needed it for work, when in reality I just wanted a new toy. Now this self proclaimed techy doesn't know how she ever lived without it!
Otherwise, I spent yesterday scrapbooking with friends. It is always a relaxing day for me. I get to eat, gossip, remember my wonderful family and eat some more, what more can a girl ask for. Which leads me into my final topic, I am leaving for Ohio in less than a week. It will be wonderful to see everyone, didn't get to do too much visiting last time secondary to the hustle and bustle of the holidays.
On a side note, please keep the Taber family in your thoughts today. Shane got a call this am that Jamie's dad is unaccounted for. Was suppose to be home early this am from his cabin. He hasn't showed up yet and no one is able to get a hold of him. The sheriff has recommended that Jamie drive up there and look for slide off secondary to the blizzard. I will keep you posted.

Wow--it's been busy, busy for you lately!
ReplyDelete1) KU: thanks for Sherron, they deserved to lose...I don't know where his head was but he wasn't playing/well AT ALL. I guess it was a tiny glimpse into next season?! =(
2) an iphone!? Awesome. I hope you don't find yourself unknowingly calling people all the time like my Aunt M did/does with hers.
3) Online shopping...so evil & so good all-in-one. LOVE it.
4) Ah, scrapbooking, how I miss thee. I can't seem to keep any dates or other matters straight these days. =( I have so much I want to do but seem to stay entirely too busy doing NOTHING. *pathetic*
5) I will definitely keep Jamie's family/dad in my prayers. Please keep me/us posted as you learn more...
Here's to a FAST week which leads you directly to Ohio. =)
