This has been the joy of my week, I love traveling back to Michigan/Ohio and just being able to sit back and relax. Not having to worry about dead lines or phone calls, Just having to play. It is a wonderful feeling. And these little girls make it amazingly easily.

On Monday, Shane Matt and I headed to mom's in the afternoon and spent the day enjoying mom's 46 inch flat screen HDTV and 100's of channels, the boys were in heaven. That evening we met mom and dad at Ralphie's, a local bar and wing place. Had a few beers and some good laughs. Then back to mom and dad's for more TV time.
On Tuesday Morning the three of us headed to the greatest amusement park on earth, Cedar Point. A couple of summers ago a group of us ventured to Worlds of Fun in Kansas city, Don' tget me wrong, I had a great time, but it was a little dull around the edges. This day reminded me why. I grew up riding the world's tallest and the world's fastest roller coasters. We would got to Cedar point 3-4 times a summer and it is still exhilarating to me. I have to say though I do have a favorite, The Top Thrill Dragster. It is a behemoth, standing 420 feet above the midways. It opened as the tallest and fastest coaster in the world back in 2003. It is a hydraulic cable launch system - launches riders from 0-120 mph in less than four seconds. And the entire ride takes 17 sec! It is amazing.
On Wednesday, Shane and Matt took a drive to Shane's old stomping grounds and visited the lake for the day and I headed to lunch with Steve. It was a nice afternoon catching up. Than off to Michigan to tumble with the munchkins again. My mom even got in on the action.
