Whatever tickles my fancy

I am glad that I decided to participate in this blog challenge. It is making me document some things that I normally would not have. But the last few topics haven't been my favorite. They have been things that don't really pertain to me and I have been doing research to even come up with the content.

With that being said, I am much happier with today's topic, I prefer less structure and to just free type and see what ends up on the page. I admit I tend to go off on a few tangents, but always manage to come back to the subject I intended, like now.

I think I have mentioned more than once that Shane is assistant coach of a high school football team. They have had three games thus far and are 0-3. The positive side of that is that last night they played the entire game, it was not stopped secondary to a mercy rule. The problem is that they have 5-6 actual FOOTBALL players and a bunch of guys who thought, yea it would be fun to try and play. So a very frustrating team to watch from both a spectators and a coach's point of view. They have such potential and you see flashes of it occasionally. One of these days are they are gonna come together as a unit, but until than I will continue to watch from the stands with bated breathe.
